Porsha attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. There, she studied Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering. It was also at TSU that Porsha realized you can be in STEM and still be passionate about fashion and how you present. Growing up in Ann Arbor near the campus of the University of Michigan, the style was not highlighted or celebrated. Attending an HBCU was a bit of a culture shock but showed Porsha fashion and education can run parallel.

Porsha grew up in Ann Arbor; a small college town Michigan. Always having a love for fashion, she recalls flipping through Vogue and ELLE magazines while her mother shopped at the grocery store. But, she has always maintained a love for math, science and technology too.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout? Definitely Black women; who without a doubt push my business forward, recharge me when I feel drained by speaking life into me, my craft/creative AND my calling.
